In episode one Yusuke jumps infront of a car in order to save a young boys life.And he wakes up finds himself floating
in the sky.Looking down he sees his body lieing in the street lifeless.With someone from the hospital checking his body out.Yusuke
tries talking to him and the man doesn't respond.Yusuke tells him to llisten to me.And then tries to punch him, but he still
ignores Yusuke.Yusuke thinks to himself that was weird.And looks back to how his day was.In order to find out whats going
on.As looking back Yusuke can't find anything that can tell him what is going on.So he says to him self have I become a gost.Then
Botan appears and says Bingo.And tells him that he is dead and that he has become a ghost.And that he can go through an ordeal
to get his life back.Yusuke starts questioning her about it.Then she tells him the same thing again.And he colms down.He tells
Botan everyone would be happier if he was gone and doesn't want to go through with the ordeal.Then Botan leaves him to think
about it.As Yusuke is thinking he goes and floates around to see what is going on.He sees his teachers and all of his classmates
happy that he is gone.But Kuwabara,Kieko, and his mother are not happy that he is gone.Then Botan comes back to see his answer.Yusuke
decides to go through with the ordeal.And they both head off to Spirit World to see Quimba prince of spirit world about getting
Yusukes life back.Yusuke and Botan arrive at spirit world, right in front of spirit worlds palace where Quimba is.The gates
open they see abunch of olgars running around doing paper work and on phones and totally in a panic.They walk pass the olgars
and into Quimbas office.As their in his office Yusuke is looking all around for him, but can't find him.Quimba tells him to
look down and then he goes to his desk.Yusuke starts laughing and makeing front of Quimba by calling him a todler and asking
if he is pody traned and if he has moved pass a diper..Asking Botan is she serios.Botan tells him why would I lie about this
you moreon.And she hits Yusuke on the head but Yusuke still continues to laugh.Then Quimba jumps onto his desk and Yusuke
stops laughing.And Quimba shows him a golden chicken egg.Which contains a spirit beast.He tells Yusuke he can take the egg
for a week and have it feed off of his energy.If he is good the beast is good and he is bad the beast is bad and it will devour
him.Or he can not take the egg and just stay ghost .Yusuke decides to take the egg and go through the ordeal to get his life
back.He goes to Keico in her sleep by entering one of her dreams and tells her not have his body burned at the funeral because
he will becomeing back to life in a week.As Yusuke goes through the ordeal Botan stays with him.Through out the ordeal Yusuke
is nice part time and he is mean.He beats up some boys by takeing over a girls body.He helps Kuwabara pass a test by helping
him study.One day in the ordeal someone sets Yusukes house on fire with his body in it.Until Botan trys to get hold of Keico.Which
she does Keico runs to Yusukes house and goes inside to save Yusukes body while its on fire.Then the entrance gets closed
off where she can't escape.With Keico stuck Yusuke decides to save her by throwing down his spirit beast at the house.Which
saves Keico by opening up a passage way for her to escape by spirit energy.Since the beast is gone Yusuke realizes their is
know no way for him to be able to come back to life.Then Quimba appears and tells him that he can come back to life.Only because
he saved Keico.If he wouldn't have the beast would of eaten him.And that their is a second thing he needs to do for he can
come back, which is to get someone to give him some of their life energy by transferring it through the mouth.He dicides on
three people.One out of those three people he needs to get them to transfer some of their own life energy.Which is Kuwabara,Keico,
and his mother.His mother he decides not to go to when he finds her drunk with all her friends.So he sticks with Keico and
Kuwabara.As the time gets closure Yusuke realizes that he needs to hurry and that the energy must be transferred right away.So
Botan goes to Kuwabara in his sleep and Kuwabara wakes up thinking it was a nightmare.Because he saw himself kissing Yusuke.When
Yusuke saw him not wanting to do it he decided to stick with Keico.Then Botan and Yusuke went to get Keico.Botan and Yusuke
got her attenchion and went straight to Yusuke house to transfer the life energy.She goes into his house and kissed
him.Where the life energy is transferred.Botan and Quimba think Keico was to late and didn't make it and they look around
and they don't see Yusukes spirit any where.Then they look back into the window and Yusuke soul has entered his body and he
came back to life.Botan saying he made it and telling Quimba this case is over with.And Quimba says don't be silly Botan it
just begone lets see how are Yusuke does when hes not floating in the air.Look back down and see Keico and Yusuke happy to
see eachother and hugging.The next day Yusuke returns walking on the sidewalk and sees a fortune teller.Which is Botan
is disguise.Botan tells him his future but doesn't believe her so he leaves and continues walking.Then he sees Kuwabara and
his friends getting picked on by a bunch kids from another school.There forceing Kuwabara to steel three comic books from
the comic book store in order to get his cat back from them.Kuwabara returns with the comic book and gives them to the leader
of the group.When he throws the comic books the group leader sees a recete and realizes that they were payed for and Kuwabara
didn't do what he said.So he has Kuwabara and his three friends follow him and his gang outside into a grass aira.When one
of them pulls out a glass bottle and breack the bottom off to make it sharp.And tells Kuwabara to hit his friends if not he
will hurt the cat.But Kuwabara refuses and tells them its against his owner code.His friends tell him they can take it but
he still refuses.Then Yusuke appears and punches the guy who is holding the cat and the bottle in the face and grabs the cat.Then
Yusuke turns around and takes off of his glasses and shows everyone that he has come back to life.Kuwabara says you really
have come back from the dead.Then Yusuke starts beating all the kids up from the other school and hands the cat to Kuwabara.And
they all start pounding on eachother.The ringleader of the gang ran off.Who was being controlled by a small deman from deman
world.That was inside him that normal human beings cant see him.Yusuke punches him in the face and knocks the human that he
was controlling out.Then the deman crowled out of his mouth.Shocked that Yusuke can see him.The deman comes out and trys to
fly away but Yusuke catches him before he can escape.Telling Yusuke liveing humans can't see me your breaking the rules.Then
Botan appears again in front of Yusuke in her fortune teller outfit.Calling him by his name and telling him about the deman
he just cought.Yusuke freacks and says wow how do you know my name.Botan reveals her self, Yusuke is in shock to see her again.Then
Quimba appears in front of them in the sky and announcing that he will be spirit detective.Next day at school everyone is
shocked to see Yusuke alive.Yusuke thinking to himself maybe I should of stayed dead.Keico says but you been so nice to them.Kuwabara
runs up to him and touches his shoulder and tells him he will be in ghost land soon.Yusuke responds things havn't changed
a bit.In school Yusuke gets called by his teacher.Getting blamed that he has been stealing peoples things.Yusuke getting
angry.Quimba appears and stalls time.And tells him that three top deman thiefes have broken into spirit world.Yusuke tells
him he wont help until he is cleared of his charges.Quimba tells him to look through the eye glass which allows you to see
through things such as clothing.And to look into his teachers coat.Their he sees the things that have been stolen from the
other students.Quimba restores time and tells Yusuke to grab it out of his pocket in front of the princible.Princible ask
the teacher is their meaning for this.The teacher blames it on Yusuke and walks away.Then Yusuke tells Quimba he's going to
pay.Then Quimba tells him to attack him invisible.By useing his spirit gun.By gathering his spirit energy and focusing it
in his finger and fireing it.Yusuke fires his spirit gun and knocks the teacher out.And Quimba tells him that is his spirit
gun.Next day Yusuke is given a mition to retrieve three artifacts.Is the four lourn hope,shadow sword, and the org of bost.He
is told they have been stolen by three ruthless crinimals from deman world.They have the ability to destroy the world.When
Botan finds out that Yusuke has been given this mition she walks straight into Quimbas office and starts yelling at
him.She tells him "they are giveing out large amouts of energery and they will tear Yusuke into peaces"!Quimba tells her
"he had no choice to give him this case because his father is comeing home and he will sink continents just to get them back"!Botan
tells him "at least let me train him for a while"!But he still has no choice but to give Yusuke the task.Yusuke uses a deman
compass which Botan gave him.Which allow him to find demans by tracking their deman energy.Yusuke ends up down town a real
dumpy area.Where he sees Gouki who has the orb of bost which allow him to get souls and eat them.He follows Gouki to Heie
and Kurama.
Season One Spirit Detective: Season one is where Yusuke first gets his powers.
